Synopsis

This introductory module to cloud computing describes and explains fundamental aspects of cloud computing concepts, models, technologies and applications. The module divided into three main parts covers principles of cloud computing, cloud technologies & applications, cloud management and business case for adopting cloud computing. Topics include: fundamental concepts and models, main cloud technologies, cloud architectures & infrastructure, cloud applications and paradigms, cloud cost metrics, service quality, SLAs and TCO. Cloud applications using IaaS, PaaS and SaaS are introduced with hands-on using both IBM Bluemix Cloud and Amazon Web Services.
