In Remembrance

The success of the School of Computing was built on the concerted efforts and dedication of our faculty and staff, students and alumni. Many of our faculty and staff have been with us for a good number of years.

We pay tribute to our colleagues who have since passed on, and remember their contributions to the School during their time with us.

Dr CHAN Ip Wang
Department of Information Systems & Computer Science
Years of service: 1988 – 1996
Dr Chan worked on algorithms and co-authored a number of papers on this subject.
Assoc Professorial Fellow CHIONH Eng Wee
Department of Computer Science
Years of service: 1984 – 2009
Prof Chionh’s top subject is shape modelling. Other areas include parametric curve and surface models, volumetric models, computations on polynomials, among others. His publication years were from 1990 to 2009.
Nandan CHOUDHURY
Department of Information Systems & Computer Science
Years of service: 1983 – 1990
CUI Jiangjun
Research Fellow
Department of Computer Science
Years of service: 2009 – 2009
Mr Cui was involved in computational biology research. In one of the papers he co-authored, the research work was supposedly the first attempt using a mathematical model to simulate regulatory relations to help explain the in vitro experimental data.
Asst Prof GOH Cheng Hian
Department of Computer Science
