Mr Ivan Ng Chuen Pin graduated from NUS Faculty of Science’s Department of Information Systems and Computer Science (DISCS) in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences.
He has over 20 years of experience in digital and IT Innovation, with a strong track record in managing business P&L. He was also an executive team member to help launch an Initial public offering (IPO) for HiSoft International (now Pactera), which has grown to be one of China’s largest outsourcing company on NASDAQ.
Currently, Ivan is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at City Developments Limited (CDL). CDL is one of the largest companies listed on the Singapore Exchange with a portfolio of residential, commercial and hospitality properties spanning over 28 countries. In this role, he is responsible for the group’s Technology Strategy and Operations, overseeing CDL’s digital initiatives and spearheading the usage of emerging technologies in real estate.
Ivan has in-depth experience working across Asian cultures. He was the regional Director for Software Solutions and Services at Hewlett-Packard from 2011 to 2014, where he led projects spanning across the ASEAN region. In 2013, Ivan was awarded Global People Manager Award at Hewlett-Packard (HP), in recognition of his contributions for building a high performance and collaborative team culture.
At Pactera, Ivan was the President for the Strategic Clients Business unit, from 2009 to 2011. He was responsible for the full P&L of the business unit and managed end-to-end sales and delivery to global strategic customers. Prior to this, he was the Group CTO, from 2007 to 2011, where he managed Pactera digital initiatives across 17 cities, including Group IT, Quality and Security functions. Thus, enabling Pactera to reach its business objectives.
Ivan plays an active role in shaping Singapore’s IT industry and is currently an executive council member in the IT Management Association (ITMA). The ITMA represents IT management executives in Singapore and aims to make a difference to the IT industry, and to nurture new generations of Chief Information Officers (CIO). He is also part of the Industry Advisory Committee for NUS School of Computing, where he provides industry insights to help align school strategy with industry trends. Ivan is also part of the Singapore Institute of Directors, and is a member of the Board of Directors, at the Distrii Technology Singapore.

Master of Science in Computer Science
Founder and CEO, Arun Shenoy Music Publishing (BMI) | Narked Records
Mr Arun Shenoy graduated from NUS School of Computing’s Department of Computer Science in 2004 with a Master of Science in Computer Science. He conducted his graduate research in Computations Audio and Music Research under Associate Professor Wang Ye.
Under the tutelage of Professor Wang Ye, Arun has authored numerous research papers published in the proceedings of top ranked conferences like ACM Multimedia; and top ranked journals like Computer Music Journal and IEEE transactions on Audio, Speech and Language Processing. His work has close to 350 citations to date.
In addition to pursuing a full time job in the field of Investment Banking and Capital Markets since his graduation, Arun’s passion for music has led to him setting up a music publishing company, Arun Shenoy Music Publishing (ASMP) and Music Label, Narked Records.
In December 2012, Arun’s debut album released earlier the same year was nominated for a GRAMMY® Award, the global music industry’s highest accolade and a first in Singapore’s history.
“Bliss”, Arunʼs follow up single from his Indian World Fusion project was launched by the Recording Academy via a Worldwide Exclusive First Look at GRAMMY.com in 2013 firmly establishing his credentials at the top tier of music business.
His second album, a contemporary Jazz Funk album titled – A Stagey Bank Affair, released in 2016, was chosen as the Critics’s Pick for Best Album of the Year by Jazziz Magazine, the authoritative voice in the world of Jazz.
In 2018, Arun released an EP titled “The Unplugged Songwriter Session” On this album, for the first time, Arun introduces a more intimate singer-songwriter facet of his art, a dramatic shift from the large scale contemporary jazz and world productions he is best known for internationally. This album also marks his vocal debut. One track from the album titled “Hallelujah” is currently in consideration for an award at the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards. His music is available on iTunes, Amazon and all online streaming platforms.
