Mr. Chris Feng is a distinguished alumnus and currently serves as the President of Sea Group, a leading consumer internet company headquartered in Singapore.

Chris joined Sea Group in March 2014 and has served as President since 2022. Before taking on this role, he was the CEO of Shopee from July 2015, starting the business and leading its rapid expansion in Southeast Asia and into new markets such as Latin America. In March 2020, he also became the CEO of SeaMoney, driving the growth of the company’s digital financial services arm. Prior to these roles, he headed Sea’s mobile business.

Before joining Sea, Chris worked at Rocket Internet SE, where he served in management roles at Zalora and Lazada, and at McKinsey & Company.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with first-class honors from the National University of Singapore (2004).

Mr Khor Shi-Jie graduated in 2016 with a Double Degree in Computer Science and  Mathematics. As a valedictorian of the graduating batch, he was honoured with the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal award. Following his graduation, Mr Khor joined Google where he worked as a Software Engineer for 5 years. He is currently a Software Engineer at Jane Street Singapore. Mr Khor remains connected to his alma mater by collaborating with and helping the Student Interest Group, and frequently giving talks to students to inspire them.

Rec Room

Ms Sarah Tan graduated with Bachelor of Computing (Honours) in Communications and Media from the National University of Singapore in 2014. She then pursued a Masters degree in Entertainment Technology at Carnegie Mellon University, where she was the Head Teaching Assistant for Building Virtual Worlds, an intensive game developement class made famous by Randy Pausch’s Last Lecture. Ms Tan was awarded the Anne Humphreys Memorial Award by the school in 2017, for her work on community building projects which betters lives for others.

Following her graduation, Ms Tan joined Rec Room, an online social game, as one of its earliest employees and first female engineer. She helped grow Rec Room from a small, virtual reality only game into a massive user generated content based game that is available on all gaming platforms, and represented Rec Room as a speaker at the 2024 Game Developers’ Conference. Ms Tan is currently the Engineering Lead for the Retention team at Rec Room, where she works on social features and early session retention. Outside of work, Ms Tan provided pro-bono business development support to Ghostlore, a popular made-in-Singapore indie game that celebrates Southeast Asian folklore, from 2021-2024. She was also named as one of the 2022 Women to Watch by the Singapore Global Network, and remains connected with the School of Computing by contributing in activities whenever possible.
