Professor Tan Kian Lee receives 2024 DASFAA Contribution Award
Professor Tan Kian Lee, Dean of NUS Computing, has received this year’s International Conference on Database Systems for Advanced Applications (DASFAA) Contribution Award for his continuous support for the DASFAA community and conferences.
The award is an acknowledgement of Prof Tan’s contributions to the latest research on database systems and advanced applications.
Professor Tan has published over 300 research articles in international journals and conference proceedings and co-authored several books and monographs. He is an associate editor of the ACM Transactions on Database Systems (TODS) and the WWW journal and served as the Technical Program Committee co-chair for DASFAA 2006. Prof Tan has also served in the editorial board of the Very Large Data Base (VLDB) Journal and the IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering journal.
