NUS Computing Undergraduates receives paper acceptance from European Conference on Computer Vision 2024

Undergraduates Teoh Tze Tzun and Lim Wei Hern have achieved a significant milestone with the acceptance of their research paper at the European Conference on Computer Vision (ECCV) in Milan, Italy.

Their paper, Enhancing Semantic Fidelity in Text-to-Image Synthesis: Attention Regulation in Diffusion Models, was developed as part of CP2107, Independent Introduction to CS Research (Odyssey). It proposes methods to improve accuracy in generating AI images, enhancing user experience in AI text-to-image systems like Stable Diffusion. Additionally, it focuses on improving semantic fidelity, making text-to-image systems more beneficial for individuals with visual impairments.

The ECCV is a biennial conference that unites experts from the scientific and industrial communities in the fields of computer vision and machine learning.
