Dr Christian von der Weth is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Computing at the National University of Singapore. He received his PhD from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany. Before joining NUS, he worked as a Research Fellow at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and the National University of Ireland, Galway. Prior to this position as Lecturer, Christian was Senior Research Fellow at the NUS Centre for Research in Privacy Technologies (N-CRiPT) in SoC.  His main research interests include social media and social network analysis, applied machine learning and artificial intelligence, natural language processing, data mining, privacy and information systems.
