Sun Chenshuo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics at National University of Singapore. He received his Ph.D. degree from New York University (with distinction). His recent research focuses on developing and deploying a combination of methodologies including machine learning, field experiments, and econometric analyses to study important real-world questions in digital economy, with interests in economics of digital technologies, digital platforms, digital governance, and behavioral analytics. His works were awarded INFORMS ISS Nunamaker-Chen Dissertation Award Runner-up 2022, the Outstanding Dissertation Award of New York University, JP Morgan Ph.D. Fellowship 2021, and several best paper awards at ICIS 2021, AIS WeB 2021, etc.

Investigation on Digital Platforms and Human-machine Co-behavior Through AI, Empirical and Experimental Methods

This proposal investigates the impact of digital technologies on consumer behavior across e-commerce and social media platforms. Focusing on voice AI in shopping, filter bubbles in recommender systems, and social features affecting search volume, the project aims to provide valuable insights and address key questions in these domains.
