Stanley's research interests are in machine learning, artificial intelligence, data science, and their applications. Prior to joining NUS, he was a Principal Research Scientist at Rakuten Institute of Technology, where he served as the research lead in various data analytics and AI projects, e.g., recommendation systems, customer stratification, user churn prediction, machine translation, speech recognition and technology-enabled language acquisition.
