WHAT I LIKE / DISLIKE ABOUT THE MODULE

What I liked about the module:

Comment
Small group of people and we can approach the tutor easily.
Writing assignments were interesting and relevant to my interests. The business plan was open ended so it was tough to come up with a good idea, but we learnt a lot in the process.
I learnt a lot of useful things.
Flexible tasks, interesting lessons, teaches us to think critically
The writing techniques introduced in this module is beyond linguistic skills. They are about idea organisation and hence, can be applied to other aspects as well.
This module teaches 2 things: business and writing concurrently, and both are useful in real life.
Helpful in improving my oral and written skills compared to other similar modules I took before.
I felt that I have learnt the most from this module out of all the 5 modules I have taken in this semester.

I have learnt a lot of real world skills and business knowledge.

The workload was manageable, with one piece of writing or presentation per week.
Offers important communication skills but the workload is crazy.

What I did not like about the module:

Comment
Always Cannot finish the assignment before deadline
heavy workload
This module expects the students to have some prior knowledge on business. Students without such knowledge will struggle to cope with the module.
The workload is high. However, it is because of the workload that allowed me to improve tremendously.
Take-home written assignments can fail and get rejected. Eventually, every failed assignment accumulates over time and the module is subjected to fail if all assignments were not passed and accepted, which hinders my other modules.

Students should be warned before taking this module, and the module synopsis should note this.

This module should have a prerequisite. The class comprises of students with different English standards. Students who are poor in english tends to become a straggler while students with high-cailber raises the bar.
