Lab Alumnus Named ACM 2023 Distinguished Member
Professor Meihui Zhang named as an ACM Distinguished Member
Professor Meihui Zhang, a lab alumnus and former Ph.D. student of Professor Ooi Beng Chin, has been named a 2023 Distinguished Member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) for her contributions to end-to-end data analytics and verifiable data management.
All the 2023 inductees are longstanding ACM Members and were selected by their peers for work that has advanced computing, fostered innovation across various fields, and improved computer science education.

Professor Zhang received her Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Her main research interests include Big Data Management and Analytics, Large-scale Data Integration, Modern Database Systems, Blockchain Systems and AI. She is currently a professor at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT).
