Concurrent Degree Programmes

Concurrent degree programmes in Bachelor of Computing (Computer Science/Computational Biology) Honours and Scientiae Magister allow high-performing students to obtain the Bachelor of Computing in either Computer Science or Computational Biology Degree from NUS and a Scientiae Magister from Brown University within five years. The Computer Science Scientiae Magister programme complements the undergraduate degree with its advance courses, and an educational experience in a top US institution. Brown University has an excellent reputation for innovative education and research with tight integration of theory and practice. The Computational Biology Scientiae Magister programme provides advanced training in computational biology, which students can later utilize in the field biotechnology. Some of the skills learned span therapeutics, diagnostics, translational medicine, and fundamental research.

Concurrent degree programmes in Bachelor of Computing (Information Systems) Honours with Master of Science (Management) address the challenges of managing new computing and market trends, such as IT outsourcing and offshoring, IT entrepreneurship, and commercialisation and management of innovative and complex IT products and services. This concurrent degree programmes provide a multidisciplinary platform that combine technical computing skills with the requisite management, communications, and marketing skills to respond effectively to these challenges.

Concurrent degree programmes in Bachelor of Computing (Electronic Commerce) with Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Innovation Management are fast-track four-and-a-half year integrated programmes, combining the undergraduate degree with a Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University. The Master’s degree aims to equip students with innovation leadership and strategic management of technology skills.

Concurrent degree programmes in Bachelor of Computing (Information Systems) Honours with Master of Philosophy in Management are fast-track four-and-a-half year integrated programmes, combining the undergraduate degree with a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Management from Cambridge University. Students will obtain a global education within three years at NUS and one year at Cambridge University. The MPhil in Management is offered by the Judge Business School, Cambridge University, UK. It is a taught Master’s programme which offers new and recent non-business/management graduates a thorough grounding in management.

Concurrent degree programmes in Bachelor of Computing Honours with Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management are accelerated Concurrent Double Master Programme (CDMP), designed for high-performing undergraduates who are currently pursuing BSc, BComp, BBA, BEng and want to establish careers in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM) sector. Offered in collaboration with Georgia Institute of Technology, the programme is tailored to groom high-performing candidates early for their strategic and management roles in their respective organisations. CDMP is supported by Singapore’s Economic Development Board (EDB) and many key industry partners, with attractive scholarships and job placements available to outstanding students.
