| Q1. | Please comment on the strengths and weaknesses of the module, and suggest possible improvements. |
| 1. | Strengths: Wide coverage of digital libraries concepts. Dislikes: The marks for the 2 homework assignments entails more time and effort than the 5% marks allocated for each. |
| 2. | Very well though out syllabus and clear flow, but will hope to see more correlation between the theory and practical aspects of the course. Workshops and assignments were interesting and challenging. Like the greater emphasis on coursework, rather than on tests or exams. |

| 4. | Strength: - Lecturer was committed, willing to share and impart knowledge to the students. Weakness: - Scope of the module was too broad, required good mix of knowledge to understand the topic. Should try to narrow the scope of the module. It turn out that we are rushing for time to complete the lecture, about 50 slides per lecture. I think this is too much for 2 hrs lecture. - Homeworks and assignments required multiple skills(e.g. certain level of programming) before it can be completed. It turn out to be difficult for IS students without programming knowledge to complete the assignments. |
