1. | A lot of reading required. May not be very suitable for a part-time student. |
2. | Very interesting. But learning curve is steep. |
3. | 1. Give us a good overview of the technologies and techniques in Text Processing 2. Not in depth in any topics 3. Students don't have the necessary mathematical background to go in deep. |
4. | This course introduces much text processing-related knowledge, by covering quite a lot of NLP tasks. I really feel interested in the course. But, on the other hand, since the coverage is excessive large, there is no deep discussion in some of the tasks. |
5. | just good need more state-of-the-art tech may be the lecturer should start another named "advanced TP on the web" |

7. | The module covers very interesting topics. Even it is organized very well. Having the web cast of lectures was really great. The projects were very interesting. Though the very strict penalty for late submission was little disappointing but may be required. It would be great if there should be some way to compensate the penalty for late submissions. |
