Scheme can be used for other things, languages,... All Schemers, do the following (if possible): Take IC2101C if you did not take in during Special Term. Now for updates -- some of which you may have heard about. Modules, Not modular credits: MC not in, so counting is done in modules IC1101S (worth about 1 + 1/3 modules) IC1102S (worth about 1 + 1/3 modules) Together (2 + 2/3 modules) So, in Singlish, no enuf wat. So how? no problem. go get somemore 1/3 module. Then dept will write to get you 1 more credit. One More S-Modules: Do one more S-module (worth 1 + 1/3 modules) CS2104S is offered in Semester 1 (Khoo SC) but note that CS2104S is the only S-module offered in 1998/99 apart from IC1101S.) (I know you all wanted IC2101S, but unfortunately, I cannot work that magic to get it for you even after 3 tries at it.) One time Offer also being considered -- not confirmed yet: Take CS1305 for 1/3 module. (worth 1/3 module) CS1305 is offered in Semester 2 (LeongHW) but this offer is NOT confirmed yet. (This is like, in Hokkien, "no fish, prawn also good." Non-native Singaporeans-Hokkien, please ask your classmates to provide translation.) Guaranteed Honours Given conditional Honours if CAP >= 3.0 now (>= 10 modules completed) confirmed if CAP >= 2.9 by time you graduate at Year 3. NURP Those who are in IC2288 -- how many of you now? Strongly encouraged to continue. (And with present supervisor, whenever possible -- unless you quarrel with him/her.) How many will also continue with IC3288? Area of Focus: (last survey...)
