===================================================================== From: Leong Hon Wai To: All 1997 SPD Schemers: cc: TohMK, TeoYM, TehHC, YeoAK, NgWL Date: (04 June 1999, Friday) Some more updates for all of you, esp for those aiming for Accelerated Honours Programme. As I mentioned to you last year, (see previous update on SPD web) those of you (SPD people) who took CS2104S will get an extra module. However, this module will be credited to you only IMPLICITLY. That is, it will not be EXPLICITLY given out as there is no course code to give for that module. This means that for graduation with BSc, you will need only a total of 27 (instead of 28) modules. Of course, the other parts of the BSc requirements still applies. For those who are applying for Accelerated Honours, please put down the ACTUAL number of modules you have taken and add in the statement that you have one extra module credit from (CS1101S, CS1102S, CS2104S) as in Total Number of Modules passed: 23 + (1 module credit from CS1101S, CS1102S, CS2104S) Additional Note: When you calculate your CAP, the various S modules are counted as 1 module (not 1+1/3). The "extra-credit" module does not go into your CAP computation. If you have further questions on the SPD, please email to me...
