  • 5-May-2006 -- Course is over.
    Exam went without a hitch and a big thanks to Aaron.
    Thanks to all the students for an enjoyable course.

  • 17-Apr-2006 -- HW3-9 marks online! Collect your papers.
    HW3 -- HW9 marks are now online. Check them under CA marks.
    Collect your papers from outside my office. (Only HW1 and project to grade).

  • 14-Apr-2006 -- Consultation during Study Breaks. Final Exam update.
    As I mentioned in class, I will be around next week, and so will be available for consultation (email me first).

  • 14-Apr-2006 -- Final Exam update.
    Exam venues is out -- UIT2201 Final Exam is at USP-SR3 (USP Rm 07-07).
    But I will be on away for conference for the week of 24-April. In case, you are interested, the conference is the ACM Symposium on Applied Computing (ACM-SAC 2006) at Dijon, France.

    Mr Aaron Tan, (web-site here) my SoC-colleague and good friend and also the Assistant Dean, SoC, has kindly agreed to stand-in for me for proctoring the final examination. Aaron will be more than capable of answering any queries you may have during the examination. In the rare event when clarification from me is required, I will be available online (via MSN) and off-site (via mobile phone) from Dijon (Final exam is 9-11am in Spore, and will be 3-5am in Dijon(-6hr)).

    HW4 is now online.

  • 17-Feb-2006 -- Select Option A: Makeup Lecture on Thu, 23-Feb
    The make-up lecture will be held on Thu, 23-Feb at 12-2pm.
    It will be on Topic 4: Hardware (Binary-Numbers and Boolean Logic)
    Topic 3: Database will be covered the following Monday.

  • 23-Jan-2006 -- HW2 is out, Forum started on IVLE

  • 14-Jan-2006 -- HW1 writeup updated
    The newer version of HW1 is now online. It contains the writeup on a new Q question arising from our discussion of T1-D2.
    Also, the deadline is Wednesday, 18-Jan, instead of 19-Jan.

    I will put an envelope outside my office so that you can drop your solutions into the envelope when I am not in the office.

  • 14-Jan-2006 Monday (16-Jan) lecture cancelled
    Due to unforseen circumstances, lectures for next Monday (16-Jan) has been cancelled. I will arrange a make-up lecture for it when we meet during tutorial on Thursday 12-2pm.

    I like to express my thanks to the cooperation of the students in the 4-6pm tutorial group for graciously agreeing to move to the 12-2pm group. Again, if you have real difficulty moving to this group, please email me.
