VISA INFORMATION

Foreign attendees of RECOMB2008 would need a "business visa" (which is also called an "entry pass for social visit") to come into Singapore. For citizensof most countries, this can be obtained on-the-spot at the Singapore Changi Airport.

But for citizens of some countries, this visa should be obtained in advance.These countries are: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Commonwealth of Independent States, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Myanmar, People's Republic of China, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen.

Please contact Prof. Limsoon Wong if you need a letter of invitation to apply for the visa.

Please do NOT apply for the "professional visit pass", as it is not for speakers and attendees of scientific meetings.
