Today, I visited the Rijksmuseum, Museum Van Loon, Foam - Photography Museum Amsterdam, and Amsterdam Historisch Museum.
In the afternoon, I joined a warlking tour of Amsterdam. The tour starts on the Damrak and passes the Red Light District, the Dam Square with the Royal Palace, Old Church, New Church, Dam Monument, the flower markt, the Rembrandtplein. It ended with a short canal cruise back to the Central Station.
In the evening, I attended the second concert (Programme A) of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester. They played Bela Bartók's The Miraculous Mandarin (Suite) and Anton Bruckner's Symphony no. 7 in E-Major. Once again, the acoustics of the Concertgebouw was superb.
