The Face Group is dedicated to the development of advanced computer vision and image processing systems. Research is focused on two broad areas, namely, the development of algorithms for face recognition and generation of realistic looking, animated human face models. Our research is motivated by applications in computer graphics, computer vision, computer animation and machine learning.

Dr. Terence Sim has won this year’s Temasek Young Investigator Award for his research on face recognition.
