Faculty
Terence Sim
He is an Asst. Prof. at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. He teaches an introductory programming course for freshmen, as well as a graduate course in multimedia. For research, he works primarily in these areas: face recognition, biometrics, and digital photography. He is also interested in computer vision problems in general.
Roland Yap
Roland Yap is an associate professor in the School of Computing of the National University of Singapore. He obtained his B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Before joining the National University of Singapore, he was an Australian Research Council research fellow at the University of Melbourne. Prior to that he has been a visiting scientist at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center in New York.

Yu Dan
Yu Dan is a research fellow in the School of Computing of the National University of Singapore. She obtained her B. Eng. (1st Class Hons) and Ph.D. degrees in EEE from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2000 and 2005, respectively. She held a one-year post-doc position in INRIA, France, in 2006. Her current research interests include face de-occlusion and face recognition under extreme conditions.

Zhang Sheng

He got his Bachelor degree from Zhejiang University, China in 1998, then Master degree from Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001. His research interest includes: face recognition, face space, statistical pattern recognition, and machine learning.

Guo Dong

Guo Dong got his Bachelor degree from Fudan University, China in 2005. He is now a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Dr. Terrence Sim. His research interest is face recognition.
Ye Ning

He got his Bachelor degree in Computer Science from Fudan University, China in 2005. He is now pursuing his Ph.D degree under the supervision of Dr. Terrence Sim. His research interest is face modeling and animation.
Intern
Karim Krichane
Final year Master student at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (Lausanne, Switzerland), Karim is currently doing his Master's Thesis in NUS under the supervision of Dr. Terence Sim. Going a few years back, he did most of his High School in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), where he lived for six years.

Research Assistant
Feng Jimin

He graduated with Bachelor of computing with honor from School of computing, NUS in 2005. Currently he is in Graduate Program under the supervision of Dr Terence Sim. His research topic is on hardware implementation of Face recognitions. He has been also holding research assistantship by Dr Samarjit and Dr Sim respectively since graduation.
